COASTERS

This is the home of 3 coaster, The Demon Iron Wolf and the American Eagle. There is a outside food court as well as one of Six Flags signature rides...Sky Whirl. Sky Whirl is what they call a triple ferris wheel which is hard to describe, so take a look at the picture below.

The Demon

This is the parks first upside-down roller coaster. It features a good 90 foot first drop, two loop and then a tunnel. From there it goes through 2 corkscrews and then circles back to the station.

American Eagle©

In 1981 this double tracked, wooden coaster was opened. If features a 147 foot first drop and many bunny hills. One of the best parts is the barrel at the far end of the park...it just keeps speeding up faster and faster.

Iron Wolf©

Iron Wolf© was B&M first coaster and Great America's first stand up. You are taken down a 100+/- foot drop, into a loop, then banked turns and a corkscrew all while standing up!

Haybaler

Inside a barn type structure you are spun around in a circular motion with little inclines/declines. The cars angle out as you go faster to add to the excitement.

Sky Whirl©

The last remaining one that I know of. This one has thee separate arms which hold 12 cages each. The arms rotate into 3 different position and rotates on the arm, so you get a good view of the park. This ride is not a fast ride so it is good for everyone.

Splashwater Falls©

The fourth water ride in the park gets you the most wet.
Drop down a rushing waterfall and get sprayed with a wall of water. If you are still not wet enough after that (which you will be), you can stand on the exit bridge and wait for the next boat to spray the entire bridge and everyone on it.

Great American Raceway

Drive along the track in a turn of the century replica antique car. Great for kids as well as adults.

Ameri-Go-Round

The second carousel in the park, this one also has a lot of detail to the horses.

Fiddler's Fling

This is a "Tilt-O-Whirl" type ride where you can spin really fast (you control it) while inclining/declining to add to the ride.

Fairground Junction Railroad Satiation
(this is the same railway as in Hometown Square, just another place to get on/off).

This is just another place to get on the railway which takes you around the park and gives you descriptions of some of the must see in the park.
